AFRICA TO THE WORLD!!!

Fusing the creativity of African arts with the innovation of contemporary music to inspire and captivate audiences.

Jaguza Troupe is a vibrant and dynamic ensemble of skilled musicians, singers, dancers and performers showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Africa. Our performances are a captivating blend of rhythmic drumming, melodic tunes and energetic dances, featuring a diverse array of traditional African instruments such as the djembe from West Africa, ngoma from East Africa, adungu, tube fiddle, xylophone and akogo also known as the thumb piano. The musicians skilfully weave intricate patterns of sound, while the singers’ powerful voices deliver songs that resonate with the stories and traditions from the mother land.

The dancers, adorned in colourful costumes, bring the stage to life with their expressive movements and infectious energy, whilst doing dances like the Zulu dance and the gumboot dance from South Africa.

Together, Jaguza Troupe creates an immersive and exhilarating experience that celebrates the continent’s artistic diversity and vibrant spirit.
